Dr. Lisa Radosta is a pioneering figure in veterinary behavior, holding the title of Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (DACVB) and currently serving as the president-elect of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists. Graduating in 2000 from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, she furthered her expertise through a residency in Behavioral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, earning the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists Resident Research Award twice. Licensed and practicing in Florida, Dr. Radosta has dedicated over two decades to improving animal welfare.

Dr. Radosta’s visionary approach not only elevates the field of veterinary behavior but also transforms the way we understand and care for our pets. Globally recognized as a speaker, author, researcher, corporate advisor, board member, and expert witness, she is unwavering in upholding the highest standards of ethical and compassionate practices. Dr. Kenneth Martin, a distinguished Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (DACVB), brings more than two decades of expertise in veterinary behavioral medicine. Graduating from Louisiana State University – School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, Dr. Martin refined his skills through a clinical Behavioral Medicine residency at Purdue University’s Animal Behavior Clinic, earning an invitation to join Phi Zeta, the honor society of veterinary medicine.

As a licensed practicing veterinarian in Texas, Dr. Martin stands out for skillfully blending clinical expertise with an exceptional hands-on proficiency in dog training and handling. His industry influence is evident through his contributions as an author in prominent textbooks and journals, along with engaging lectures and coursework for veterinary students at Louisiana State University, veterinarians, and other pet professionals. The Elite Fear Free Certification held by Dr. Martin exemplifies his holistic approach, affirming his deep commitment to animal welfare in every facet of veterinary care.

Dr. Sheila Segurson, a trailblazer in animal shelter medicine and behavior, is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (DACVB) and the first veterinarian worldwide to complete a post-graduate residency in Behavioral Medicine with a focus on shelter animals. With over two decades of unique expertise, Dr. Segurson brings a wealth of knowledge to the field.

A proud University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine alumna, Dr. Segurson graduated in 1996, completed her residency in Behavioral Medicine at UC Davis, and made history as the inaugural shelter veterinary behavior specialist at the UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program. As a licensed veterinarian in California and a devoted nonprofit leader, Dr. Segurson actively contributes to teaching, research, and the development of veterinary professional coursework in clinical shelter behavior. Fueled by a profound commitment to the well-being of animals, Dr. Segurson continually explores innovative avenues to expand and elevate care for at-risk pets facing behavioral challenges nationwide.

Dr. Mikel Maria Delgado, PhD, is an internationally acclaimed cat expert and accomplished animal behavior scientist with a distinguished academic background. With a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and postdoctoral research conducted at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Delgado offers over two decades of distinctive expertise in the field.

An influential researcher, author, speaker, and lecturer, Dr. Delgado’s work graces esteemed academic journals, while her insights are frequently showcased in major media outlets. She co-authored the book “Total Cat Mojo” with Jackson Galaxy, and her forthcoming book, “Play with Your Cat!” solidifies her standing as a leading authority on feline well-being.  As a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (CAAB) and Certified Cat Behavior Consultant (CCBC) residing in California, Dr. Delgado extends valuable insights to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of feline behavior, welfare, and care.

Dr. Sophie Liu, an emerging star in behavior medicine, earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She completed a five-year behavior and training internship under the renowned Dr. Sophia Yin, followed by a three-year residency in Behavioral Medicine at the San Francisco SPCA. A licensed practicing veterinarian in California, Dr. Liu is also a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC), accomplished dog trainer, published author, consultant, presenter, and a dedicated sports dog enthusiast.

Known for her practical, welcoming, and effective approaches, Dr. Liu’s relatability stems from her personal experience with a challenging Doberman mix, inspiring her journey into dog training and veterinary medicine. Dedicated to evidence-based practices, she applies the science of dog behavior to real-world training situations, with a goal of making pet behavior more accessible than ever before.

Debbie Martin, a highly respected expert in dog training and veterinary behavior, holds an impressive array of credentials, including being a Licensed Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Technician Specialist (Behavior), Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, Faculty Emeritus, and Elite Fear Free Certified Professional. Notably, she is one of only 30 individuals holding the title of Veterinary Technician Specialist in Behavior.

With a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Columbus State Community College, Ms. Martin has been a full-time registered and licensed veterinary technician since 1996. She is presently a board member for The Academy of Veterinary Behavior Technicians. As a world-class dog trainer, international speaker, published author, industry mentor, and influential educator in veterinary behavior, Ms. Martin offers invaluable expertise to elevate the quality of life of our cherished pets.
